According to The Independent, ELON MUSK made the prediction while talking about his Neurol-ink(a Neuro-Technology firm). 

He expressed hope that the Neura-Link chip would be able to connect to the human brain next year.The chip will be battery-powered, inserted into the human skull, and its electrodes will be inserted into the human brain. Elon Musk said this chip can work anywhere in the brain. It can not only overcome visual impairment but also solve any problem with the brain.

"With this chip, humans will no longer need tongues," said Elon Musk. I don't know what will happen to the tongues. In that case, the film would be like a matrix. If you want to speak in different languages, you need to download the program in those languages.

He said that initially these devices would be developed to help people suffering from brain injuries or diseases but in the next stages they will be able to do more than that.

When asked how long it would take to complete the project, he said that if innovation continues to grow at the same pace, it could take 5-10 years.
